The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.3 to 7. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioners have filed a representations dated 14.01.2026 and 13.02.2026 (Annexure P-19 and P-20, respectively) before respondents No.4 and 2, respectively, however, no action has been taken thereon till date. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. H.S.Wadhwa, DAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.
