T ORDER The petitioner has filed a private complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur against one Mr.Pattabiraman for the alleged offences under 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 9208 of 2026 sections 406, 420 and 506(2) IPC and as per the direction of the court concerned, a case came to be registered by the respondent police in crime no.11 of 2025. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that even after registration of the case, no effective steps have been taken by the respondent police to conduct the investigation and to file the final report and therefore, the present original petition is preferred. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registration of the FIR, the investigation has been conducted and now the case has been closed and the closure report has been filed through efiling before the concerned court. 3.The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor regarding closure of the case and the filing of the closure report before the concerned court is recorded. In the light of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a protest petition before the jurisdictional court concerned and the concerned court shall decide the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
