THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THROUGH PHYSICAL HEARING/VIDEO CONFERENCING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER 1. The petitioner has applied for E-khata in respect of the property which is the subject matter of the writ petition to respondent no.2. As the same has not been considered so far, the present petition is filed with the following prayers: "i) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ order directing the respondent No.2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner on dated: 11-03-2025 which is produced at Annexure-'G'. ii) And consequently direct the respondent No.2 to change/register the E-Khatha/E-Swattu in the name of the petitioner as per his right and title as described above in respect of Gramatana Site No.64, Khatha No.64, Assessment No.64, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18361 WP No. 5506 of 2026 Presently comes under Doddathoguru Gramapanchayathi limits, measuring East to West:80 feet and North to South:50 feet, totally measuring 4000 Sq feet, consisting stilt, Ground and First floor building, situated at Bettadasanapura village, Begur Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, Bengaluru. iii) Grant such other order or direction which this Hon'ble court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned AGA for respondent no.1 as well as learned counsel for respondent no.2 submit that, the petitioner has made a physical application for E-khata, while he is required to make an online application along with the necessary particulars. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will make the necessary application in accordance with law. 4. Hence, the following: ORDER (i) Petitioner is granted liberty to make an online application for issuance of E-katha in his - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18361 WP No. 5506 of 2026 favour in respect to the property which is the subject matter of the writ petition; (ii) If such an application is made along with all the necessary particulars, respondent no.2 shall consider the request of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within period of eight weeks thereafter; (iii) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
