Affidavit of service filed in Court today is retained with the record. 2. The present writ petition has been filed, inter alia, complaining illegal construction at premises no.22/A and 22/B, Khudiram Bose Sarani, Belgachia, Kolkata – 700037 and the failure on the part of the municipal authorities to take appropriate steps. The petitioner has also made detailed representation appearing at page 55 of the writ petition dated 15th June 2026. 3. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, I am of the view that the municipality should dispose of the petitioner’s representation by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law. 4. It is made clear that the municipality shall not enter into the boundary dispute by way of encroachment, and shall confine the enquiry only to the illegal construction. All consequences shall follow. 2 5. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 6.
