By presenting this writ petition, prayer is made for registering FIR based on complaint lodged and to take steps against errant officials for causing delay in taking steps on receipt of complaint of petitioner. 3. Ms. Saha Dutta, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 16th September, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge of Kharagpur Local Police Station, Paschim Medinipur and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 2 4. It is disclosed in communication dated 16th September, 2026 that based on complaint lodged Zero FIR was registered at Kharagpur Local Police Station on 14th September, 2026 and subsequently same was forwarded to Chandrakona Town Police Station which ultimately gave rise to Chandrakona Town Police Station No. 401/2026 dated 14th September, 2026 under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 5. In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities, at this stage no further order is warranted. 6. However, police authorities are directed to expedite the investigation and submit report before jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. 7. Writ petition stands disposed of. 8.
