1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.
2. None appears on behalf of the Commission.
3. As per the direction of the Court, a copy of the writ petition has been served upon Mr. Sunit Kumar Roy, learned advocate, who is present in Court and who usually represents the West Bengal Central School Service Commission before this Court.
4. The competent authority of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission is directed to regularize the engagement of Mr. Roy in this matter.
5. The petitioner’s application for transfer is pending consideration at the end of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The said application was forwarded by the DI of Schools (SE), Purulia to the Chairman of the Commission vide memo dated 5th May,
2026.

6. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to take necessary steps to consider the application for transfer made by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
7. If the application of the petitioner for transfer is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.
8. The fate of the petitioner’s application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
9. The writ petition stands disposed of.
10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
11. Certified server copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
