Though the present writ petition has been filed complaining of illegal construction at premises no. B/18/H/8, Linton Street, Kolkata – 700 014, the learned advocate representing the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the instant writ petition. 2. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and noting from the submissions made by the learned advocate for the municipality that a stop work notice has already been issued, I am of the view that the proceedings initiated by the municipality must be brought to a logical conclusion on an expeditious basis, preferably within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of communication of this order. 3. Once such proceedings are concluded, the municipality shall file a report before the learned Registrar General of this Court and upon such report 2 WPA 24931 of 2026 being filed the learned Registrar General shall cause the same to be tagged with the file. 4. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
