Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. The private respondents are not represented despite service. The petitioner is an employee under the 7th respondent the Reliance Jio Infocom Limited and submitted a representation before the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Jalpaiguri alongwith 14 other employees on 22nd June, 2026 seeking several remedies with regard to the affairs and practices of the company pursuant to which a letter was issued by the Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), Siliguri on 24th July, 2026 requesting the petitioner 2 to submit an online claim application through the Samadhan Portal ventilating the allegations made by him. Such online application was submitted by the petitioner on 29th July, 2026 but has not been considered yet. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), Siliguri, being the 4th respondent herein is directed to consider and dispose of the application dated 29th July, 2026 within 4 weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall however be no order as costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
