Learned counsel for the petitioner upon instructions submits that the petitioner limits his prayer seeking direction to the Secretary, RTA, Paschim Midnapore, that his representation / objection dated 24th August, 2026 and further legal notice dated 3rd September, 2026 be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the representation dated 24th August, 2026 shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 2 4. In view of the submissions made hereinabove, let the representation / objection dated 24th August, 2026 be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law after giving the parties an opportunity of being heard. The decision shall be communicated in writing within two weeks of such decision. 5. Since the affidavit-in-opposition has not been filed, the averments made in the petition are not deemed to have been admitted. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and no expression made herein shall tantamount to be an expression on the merits of the case. 7. With the above observations the instant petition stands disposed of. 8. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
