Page No.# 2/2 By the order dated 11.09.2025, the petitioner was granted interim protection directing him to appear before the Investigating Officer and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that he has appeared. The learned Special PP has submitted that the statement given by the petitioner has been recorded. Keeping in view of the fact that the statement of the petitioner has already been recorded and the other co-accused namely the Circle Officer and Lat Mandal have made their statements to the effect that the certificate issued to the petitioner was actually issued, maybe on wrong facts, this Court deems it fit to make the interim protection granted to the petitioner absolute on the same terms and conditions as given in the aforesaid order.
