JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader is directed to take notice for respondent No.1. Notice to the other respondents is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that Annexure-A is an order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in R.P.No.601/2024 dated 11.07.2025 wherein this Court recorded the submissions of both rival parties that they have arrived at a settlement and sought for disposal of the writ petition and review petition in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. However the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court was of the opinion that the settlement can be recorded by the Land Tribunal before whom the matter has already been remanded at the hands of this Court in W.P.No.266/2010. However learned counsel submits that no time frame has been fixed in the order in the review petition. Therefore the prayer in this petition is to issue necessary directions to the Land Tribunal, Karkala to take up the matter and dispose of the - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18069 WP No. 9515 of 2026 same in terms of the compromise petition that would be filed by the parties. 3. Having regard to the above, writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1-Land Tribunal, Karkala to take up the matter in proceedings bearing No.TRL. 540/1978-79, in terms of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.266/2010 dated 27.05.2013 and the orders passed by the Co-ordinate Bench in R.P.No.601/2024 dated 11.07.2025 and dispose of the proceedings in terms of the compromise petition that would be filed by the parties in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
