Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2. By presenting this writ petition prayer is made for directing concerned police authorities to conduct the investigation in accordance with law in Mayureswar Police Station Case No.158/26 dated 25th May, 2026. 3. On behalf of petitioner dissatisfaction is expressed in investigating aforesaid criminal prosecution. In same breath, it is also submitted on behalf of petitioner that after filing of this writ petition investigating officer has been changed and on 23rd September, 2026 accused person was arrested. 4. State respondents are represented by learned advocates. 5. It appears from submissions made on behalf of petitioner that steps have been taken by concerned police authorities during pendency of writ petition and arrest has been made. 6. Therefore, at this stage, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 7. Investigating officer is directed to take the investigation to its logical conclusion and file report before the jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. 8.
