This is an application filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for granting of bail to the petitioner, who was arrested on 29.12.2025 in connection with P.R.C Case No. 1320/2022 u/s 120(B)/353/307/399 of IPC r/w Section 25(1-A)/27 of Arms Act pending before the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalbari corresponding to Nalbari P.S Case No. 302/2021. 3. The Charge-sheet was filed showing that the petitioner is absconded subsequently, he was arrested on the strength of the NBWA on 29.12.2025. The allegations against the petitioner are extremely serious and it appears that the petitioner absconded for several years before he was apprehended on the basis of NBWA. 4. The learned Trial Court had rejected the prayer for bail of the present petitioner because of the possibility of further abscondance, if bail is granted to him as he never appeared before the Court earlier. 5. I find no reason to come to a different view and there is every chance of the petitioner, given his antecedents, absconding once again. 6. Hence, the prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
