At the outset, it is submitted on behalf of petitioner that prayer for registration of FIR is not pressed. However, prayer is also made thereby directing the concerned police authority to provide protection to petitioner since it is alleged that petitioner is being ill- treated by his elder son and daughter-in-law being respondent nos.5 and 6, who are staying at the same premises with petitioner. Petitioner is a senior citizen. 3. State respondents and respondent nos.5 & 6 are represented by learned advocates. 4. Learned advocate representing State respondents has submitted that there was no written complaint lodged with the concerned police authority. However, based on oral complaint a G.D. Entry was made on 4th March, 2026. [2] 5. Petitioner is directed to submit a representation before the Officer-in-Charge, Ghola Police Station, North 24 Parganas being respondent no.4 by seven (7) days from date and on receipt of same concerned police authority shall provide protection to petitioner, if occasion so arises. 6.
