JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL ORDER This transfer petition is filed by petitioner/wife for transfer of divorce application filed by respondent/husband in MC No.3519 of 2025 before the II Addl Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to the Principal Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Arkalagud, since she is residing in Arakalgud along with her parents and minor son. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the petitioner and respondent was performed on 25.02.2018 as per the Hindu rites and customs in Arakalgud and out of their wedlock, a male child was born who is now aged about 7 years. He further submits that the distance between Arkalagud and Bengaluru is approximately 196 kms and the respondent is working as Engineer and residing in Bengaluru. Lastly, he submits that the petitioner is not working and she is unable to bear the travel expenses and it is difficult to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19169 CP No. 388 of 2025 travel all the way to Bengaluru from Arakalgud along with her minor son. Therefore, she prays to transfer the aforesaid matrimonial case which is pending before the II Addl Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to the Principal Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Arkalagud. 3. Heard and perused the records. 4. On perusal of records, this Court finds it appropriate to transfer MC No.3519/2025 before the II Addl Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to the Principal Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Arkalagud.
