Order No.02/Dated- 24.03.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl.P.P. 2. The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.632 of 2025(N) registered for offences under Sections 21(b), 22(b), 23, 25 of N.D.P.S. Act and 111(2)(b) of B.N.S., 2023, which is pending in the Court of Learned Judicial Commissioner at Ranchi. 3. It has been alleged that on secret information, a raid was conducted and the co-accused persons were apprehended on the spot and on the confession of apprehended co-accused persons, this petitioner has also been apprehended. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 1.12 grams brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner which falls under small quantity. It is further submitted that petitioner is in judicial custody since 31.12.2025 having no criminal antecedents. It is further submitted that there is no independent witness to the seizure list. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial of the case and abide by all terms and conditions which may be imposed. Hence, the petitioner may be admitted to bail. 2026:JHHC:8236 2 5. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but fairly admitted that small quantity of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of allegation against the petitioner, also in view of manner of implication of the petitioner and period of custody undergone by the petitioner, I find substance in the contentions raised on behalf of petitioner. Therefore, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Learned Judicial Commissioner at Ranchi in connection with Sadar P.S.
