The petitioner was granted work order for urgent repairing and renovation work in various schools within Asansol Municipal Corporation in the district of Paschim Bardhaman for 2021-2022 and completed the work satisfactorily. Completion certificate was granted in his favour by the field junior engineer, Sarba Shiksha Mission, Bardhaman. The petitioner raised bills to the tune of Rs.34,16,324 /-which is yet to be paid. The petitioner seeks disbursal of the same. In view of the fact that the work allotted to the petitioner has been successfully completed sometime in 2022, the State Project Director, Paschim Banga Sarba Shiksha Mission, Government of West Bengal, being the 2nd respondent herein, is directed to disburse the entire due amount to the petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of 2 communication of this order subject to the petitioner complying with all requisite formalities. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
