On behalf of ‘Miscellaneous Case’ (‘MC’ for the sake of convenience and brevity) applicant, Mr. Anjan Prasad Sahu, learned counsel is before this Court on the Video Conferencing (V.C.) platform and his colleague, Mr. Deepak Prasad Sahu, learned counsel on record for applicant is before us (physical Court). Mr. Abdul Baqee Khan, learned counsel on record for respondent Nos. 3 & 4 is before this Court (physical Court). [3]
Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 21.05.2026 which read as follows: ‘21.05.2026
[1] Matter was mentioned at half past ten. [2] Mr. Abdul Baqee Khan and Mr. Anjan Prasad Sahu, learned counsel on record on either side are before this Court. [3]
Adverting to earlier proceeding made in the previous listing in 14.05.2026, Mr. Abdul Baqee Khan submitted that the SLP is scheduled to be listed on Monday (25.05.2026) before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and placed before us the downloaded copy of the case details from the website of Hon’ble Supreme Court. A scanned reproduction of the same is as follows :

Adverting to earlier proceedings dated 21.05.2026, learned counsel for MC applicant very fairly submitted that Hon’ble Supreme Court has since issued notice in the SLP and has also made an interim order of status quo until further orders on 25.05.2026.
A photocopy of the order/proceedings of Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 25.05.2026 was placed before this Court and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows:

Adverting to earlier proceedings dated 21.05.2026 and in the light of Hon’ble Supreme Court being seized of the matter, learned counsel for MC applicant sought leave of this Court to withdraw captioned MC saying that MC applicant would now approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court with this prayer. [6]
Learned counsel for MC applicant is permitted to withdraw captioned MC and a scanned reproduction of endorsement made by learned counsel for applicant in this regard in the case file is as follows:

In the light of the narrative thus far, captioned MC is disposed of as withdrawn/closed. There shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE
