Mr. Indrajit Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Avik Biswas ….for the State. 1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2. By presenting this writ petition it is alleged that after commencement of investigation of Tarakeswar Police Station Case No.470/2026 dated 25th August, 2026 petitioner and his family members are being threatened regularly by accused persons prompting petitioner to approach this Court with present writ petition seeking direction for providing police protection. 3. State respondents and private respondents are represented by learned advocates. 4. Mr. Roy Chowdhury, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents on instruction submits that investigation of aforesaid criminal prosecution is at nascent stage. However, one of accused persons has been apprehended. Raids are being conducted and statements under Section 164 Cr.P.C. are taken. 5. It is also submitted that there is no subsequent complaint lodged before concerned police authorities after commencement of investigation on registering FIR on 25th August, 2026 alleging petitioner and his family members are being threatened regularly by accused persons. 6. On posing query to learned advocate representing petitioner this Court does not get satisfactory reply with regard to lodging complaint with concerned police station alleging that petitioner and his family members are being threatened during continuation of investigation. 7. In absence of complaint lodged with concerned police station, no order need be passed as prayed for in this writ petition. 8. Writ petition stands dismissed. 9.
