Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of respondent Nos. 4 and 5 in digging a bore well in the middle of the road, right in front of the petitioner's house. In this regard, the petitioner had submitted a representation objecting to the activity of respondent Nos. 4 and 5.
2. It is submitted that respondent No. 4, initially, in response to the representation, assured the petitioner that no further drilling work would be undertaken. However, respondent No. 4 has now completed the drilling activity and is utilizing the bore well.
3. The learned Standing Counsel, Ms. Shireesha Rani Vallabhaneni, appearing for respondent Nos. 4 and 5, on written instructions, submits that the bore well was dug to ensure water supply to the residents of Ward No. 17 and that the activity was undertaken in the interest of the public. The written instructions furnished to this Court do not mention the present status of the bore well. However, it is submitted that the bore well is now operational. It is also submitted that the road has been restored.
4. Recording the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of making it clear that respondent Nos. 4 and 5 shall ensure that the road is restored without obstructing the petitioner's ingress and egress. There shall be no order as to costs.
