It is alleged that petitioner is being ill-treated by his son which prompted petitioner to lodge complaint before Officer-in-Charge, Keshpur Police Station, Paschim Medinipur. It is submitted that in spite of lodging complaint no steps have been taken by concerned police authorities to provide protection. 4) State respondents are represented by learned advocate who has submitted on instruction that there 2 is family feud between father and son. It is also submitted that till date no FIR is registered. 5) In view of case made out in writ petition and taking note of allegation made as it appears from complaint dated 28th August, 2026, Officer-in-Charge of Keshpur Police Station Paschim Medinipur being respondent no. 5 is directed to provide protection to petitioner, if occasion so arises, which will permit petitioner to lead normal life. 6) Writ petition stands disposed of. 7) Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
