Medhi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appears for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the petitioners namely, Sheharoon Nesha @ Piyarun Nessa, Sultana Khatun and Jakir Hussain have prayed for releasing them on bail after he was arrested in connection with Guwahati GRPS. Case No.11/2026 registered under Sections 21(c)/29 of NDPS Act, 1985. 3. As per the allegations, intermediate quantity of suspected heroin was recovered from the petitioners while they were travelling by train, by Kanyakumari Vivek Express, which was standing on the platform of Guwahati railway station. 4. The investigation of the case is over. Charge-sheet has been submitted under Section 21(b)/29 of the NDPS Act and the petitioners have been behind the bars for 76 days. 5. Considering the period of detention and the fact that the trial is about to commence, the prayer for bail is allowed. The petitioners namely, Sheharoon Nesha @ Piyarun Nessa, Sultana Khatun and Jakir Hussain have been released on bail of ₹50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) only each with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court. Page No.# 3/3 6. It is further provided that the petitioners shall regularly appear at the trial and shall not try to influence the witnesses in any manner. 7.
