Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, APP, Mr. Amal Kumar Dutta, Mr. Arka Naha ... For the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for bail of the petitioner on the ground that the antecedent which was pointed out by the State in the said case i.e. Kaliachak Police Station Case No. 1776 of 2024 dated 04.11.2024, petitioner was granted anticipatory bail. The present case relates to alleged recovery of 830 grams of Brown Sugar, out of which in one seizure 321 grams of Brown Sugar was allegedly recovered from the present petitioner and one Asit Kumar Mondal. The issues were canvassed very recently and prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected on 12.08.2026 in CRM(NDPS) 1609 of 2026. 2 I find that there is no change of circumstances in the instant case. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1981 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
