The revisional application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for transfer of Misc. Case No. 893 of 2022 from the Court of learned 7th Judicial Magistrate, Howrah to the Court of the learned 7th Judicial Magistrate at Alipore. 2. It appears that the said Misc. case is a proceedings under Section 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and is pending before the trial court wherein an interim order of maintenance has been passed. 3. It appears that the petitioner is a resident of Maheshtala of South 24 2 2 Parganas and has a minor child. The said proceedings has been admittedly initiated by the petitioner herself at Howrah. 4. Considering the distance between Howrah and Alipore Court, this Court is not inclined to transfer the said proceedings. 5. The prayer for transfer is thus rejected. 6.
