Kausik (Allowed) CRM (NDPS) 2029 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/ Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in connection with Raiganj Police Station Case No. 223/2026 dated 02.03.2026 under Sections 21(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. And In the matter of : Fayaj Rahaman ……Petitioner. Mr. Jisan Iqubal Hossain ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Sagar Saha Ms. Nayana Mukhopadhyay ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is similarly placed as Amit Das who has been granted bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the situational parity of the present petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Petitioner be released on same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Amit Das in CRM (NDPS) 1684 of 2026. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 2029 of 2026 is allowed. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
