Taking into consideration that the impugned order is passed by the competent authority under Section 79A and 79B of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 and on perusal of the impugned order, it would indicate that the fair opportunity has not been extended to the petitioner. 3. In that view of the matter, as the said provision has been omitted and amended, in view of the declaration of law made by this Court in WP No.12829/2023 disposed of on 01.04.2025, the writ petition is accordingly allowed. 4. The order dated 06.01.2018 (Annexure - A) passed by respondent No. 2 is set aside and the respondent No.3 is directed to enter the name of petitioner in the revenue records forthwith.
