Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for resignation dated June 23, 2025, has not been considered by the authorities. The petitioner has been serving for about 4½ years as an Assistant Professor in the department of “Orthopedic” and was posted in Cooch Behar Government Medical College and Hospital, presently known as Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital. 3. Mr. Bajpayee, learned senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the State respondents, in his usual fairness, submits that the authorities may be directed to take a decision in the matter. 4. In view thereof, I direct the respondent no. 3 to take a decision on the application dated June 23, 2025, within a period of four weeks from date. 2 5. The resultant order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter. 6. With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There will be no order as to costs. 8.
