learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 5. None appeared on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 & 4. [2]
The present application has been filed with a prayer for correcting the inadvertent Clerical/typographical error in connection with the current account number of the applicant in the State Bank of India, Manipur University Campus Branch, Canchipur appearing in the interim order dated 02.04.2026 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 5 of 2026 with MC(WP(C)) No. 6 of 2026 with MC(WP(C)) No. 64 of 2026. The counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that while drafting the connected writ petition, the petitioner Lucy Gurum ayum Digitally signed by Lucy Gurumayum Date: 2026.05.27 11:42:58 +05'30'

inadvertently made a mistake in typing the current bank account of the applicant as current account No. “38251849894” instead of the correct current account No. “38351849894” in the prayer portion of the writ petition. [4]
Because of the said inadvertent mistake committed by the petitioner, while passing the aforesaid interim order dated 02.04.2026, the wrong current account number of the petitioner had been quoted in the said interim order. The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said mistake had been corrected subsequently and as such a prayer has been made for correcting the said inadvertent mistake. [5]
The counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that they have no objection in allowing the present application. [6]
Considering the submission made the by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the records, this Court is of the considered view that while passing the interim
order dated 02.04.2026, the current account number of the applicant has been wrongly quoted due to the mistake committed by the petitioner. However, as the said mistake had been subsequently corrected, this Court is of the considered view that

it will be in the interest of justice to allowed the prayer for making the necessary correction. [7]
In view of the above, it is hereby ordered that the current account number of the petitioner bearing No.
“38251849894” shall be substituted as “38351849894” in the interim order dated 02.04.2026 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 5 of 2026 with MC(WP(C)) No. 6 of 2026 with MC(WP(C)) No. 64 of 2026. [8]
With the aforesaid direction, the present application is
disposed of.
