P.C.: 1) The challenge in the present Petition is to the Order dated 15 April 2026 passed by the learned Presiding Officer Industrial Tribunal, Thane rejecting Application at Exh-C-21. The Application was filed by the Petitioners for impleadment of contractor as party to the reference. 2) I have heard Ms. Rao, the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners and have considered the submissions canvassed by her. 3) The reference is with regard to the demand of the Respondents for reinstatement in service. Ms. Rao submits that Respondents are not made permanent on account of they suffering from colour blindness. Whether this act of the Petitioners is valid or not is a limited scope of inquiry before the Industrial Tribunal. In that inquiry presence of the contractor is not necessary. The Application of the Petitioners is rightly rejected. No interference is warranted in the impugned order. 4) Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. [SANDEEP V.
