According to the petitioner, he is serving as Mate in Irrigation Department at Pithoragarh, however, his status has been changed to that of a Class-IV employee. Regarding his grievances, petitioner has made a representation on 09.03.2026 to the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for a while submits that the Chief Engineer concerned be directed to take decision on the representation. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the prayer made by petitioner’s counsel. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Uttarakhand (respondent no. 2) to take decision on representation made by the petitioner, as per law, within ten weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
