JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider the application filed by the petitioner for phodi and durast of 3 acres and 32 guntas and 1 acre and 21 guntas of land in Survey No. 5 of Irigenahalli Village, Vijayapura Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that applications for phodi and durast were filed on 19.07.2023 and 20.10.2023 as found at Annexures-G and G1. A digital survey was also conducted by the Assistant Director of Land - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18787 WP No. 10306 of 2026 Records as found at Annexure-H4 dated 04.04.2025, however, the phodi and durast have not been conducted. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioners and the material available on record, this Court is of the considered opinion that the 9th respondent-Assistant Director of Land Records and respondent No.4-Tahsildar Devanahalli Taluk, are required to proceed to conduct the phodi and durast in accordance with law within a time frame. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.9-Assistant Director of Land Records and respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk, to proceed to conduct the phodi and durast in accordance with law after issuing notice to all concerned and conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
