The offences alleged are under Sections 85, 351(2), 352 read with Section 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 ('BNS') and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 4. This petition is filed by accused no.2 and 3. Petitioner No.2 is the mother of the accused No.1 and the mother in law of the second respondent, and petitioner No.3 is the sister of the accused No.1 and the sister in law of the second respondent. 5. Application is filed invoking Section 320 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') read with Section 359 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') and Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. 6. The application is supported by the affidavit of both the petitioners and second respondent/complainant. It is submitted that the matrimonial dispute between the parties is amicably settled. The marriage between the accused No.1 and the second respondent is dissolved in terms of the decree passed in M.C.No.4232/2026 on the file of II Additional Family Court at Bengaluru.
