This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.385/2024 pending before the JMFC, Holalkere for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 504, 323, and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC'). 3. Learned counsel for the respondent no.2 submits that, when an application is filed to discharge the petitioner on the ground that there are no materials in the charge sheet, practically the relief sought in the present case is similar to what is sought in the application for discharge. 4. Under these circumstances, the present petition is not entertained. The Trial Court shall consider the application for discharge in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders.
