Today, learned counsel for the respondent has handed over a copy of the office memorandum dated 17.04.2026, in compliance of the order dated 27.02.2026 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to Secretary, Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission to take decision on pending representation, as per law, within four weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 4. As per the office memorandum dated 17.04.2026, the representation of the petitioner has been decided to the effect that the selection of the petitioner to the post of Workshop Instructor (Mechanical) is not possible against the originally advertised post or from the waiting list, and accordingly, the representation submitted in compliance with the order of the Hon’ble High Court stands disposed of. 5. Since the representation has been decided vide the office memorandum dated 17.04.2026, the order stands complied with; therefore, nothing survives in the present petition, and the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The office memorandum handed over in Court is taken on record. 6. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to assail the office memorandum dated 17.04.2026, if so advised.
