Jiya Lal Bhardwaj, Judge (Oral) Learned Additional Advocate General has produced two communications dated 30.03.2026 issued by the Executive Engineer, JSV Division, Sundernagar to the Advocate General, Himachal Pradesh and Senior Accounts officer, Accountant General (A&E), Himachal Pradesh, Shimla alongwith letter dated 24.03.2026. The same are taken on record. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2. A perusal of aforesaid communications reveals that as per letter dated 24.03.2026, the petitioner is not legally wedded wife and thus is not entitled to get the family pension. 3. This Court while disposing of the writ petition on 17.10.2025 had given direction to the respondents to consider and decide the case of the petitioner in terms of the decision passed in LPA No.196 of 2022, titled as Roop Lal vs. State of H.P. and others, decided on 11.10.2023. Since there were no specific directions to grant pension to the petitioner, this Court while executing the order, cannot go beyond the directions. 4. In view of this, the present case is closed. However, petitioner is at liberty to assail the communications whereby the pension has been denied to her. 5. The petition is accordingly disposed of. [[ (Jiya Lal Bhardwaj) Judge 1st April, 2026.
