Learned counsel for the petitioners upon instruction states that the petitioners would be satisfied if the representation dated 18th June, 2026 made to the Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Government of West Bengal and other concerned officers are considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent no.10 also states that directions may be given that respondent no.10 may also be afforded an opportunity of being heard. 2 4. Learned counsel for the State undertakes that the representation dated 18th June, 2026 shall be considered and decided expeditiously after giving notice to all the concerned parties in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and without touching upon the merits of the case, the Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Government of West Bengal and other concerned officers are directed to consider and decide the representation dated 18th June, 2026 after giving an opportunity of being heard to all the concerned parties expeditiously in accordance with law. The concerned authority shall communicate the decision to the concerned parties in writing within two weeks of such decision. 6. Since the affidavit-in-opposition has not been filed, the averments made in the petition are not deemed to have been admitted. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. 8.
