Saikia, learned counsel appearing for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the State respondent. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Raju Das @ Raja Das, praying for grant of bail in connection with Golakganj P.S. Case No.33/2026 under Section 87 BNS (arising out of Halakura P.O.P. GDE No. 215 dated 11.02.2026). He was arrested on 04.03.2026 Page No.# 2/2 3. The allegation in the FIR lodged by the brother of the victim girl who is stated to be aged 15 years is that from school she was missing and they came to know from reliable source that the accused has eloped her. 4. Case diary has been received along with the statement of the victim recorded by the police wherein it reveals that the petitioner and the girl met through instagram and they develop love relationship and she went with him. Later, she surrendered before the police. It is submitted that the accused petitioner is aged about 19 years. 5. Seen the progress of investigation. 6. In the given facts and circumstances and considering that the girl has also been retrieved and considering the nature of her statement before the police – I deem it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. 7. Accordingly, it is provided that the accused petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with one suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of learned concerned court subject to the following conditions that the petitioner: (a) shall co-operate with the remaining investigation. (b) shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. (c) shall not harass/intimidate or pressurize the victim girl in any manner. Violation of bail conditions entails cancellation of bail. 8.
