Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in custody for 81 days and both the petitioners are not FIR named and has been unnecessarily arrested by the police authorities.
Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and also referred to the statement of the injured.
I have taken into account the statement of the injured and is of the opinion that further custodial detention of the present petitioners are not warranted.
As such, petitioners be enlarged on bail.

As such, petitioners, namely (1) Vikram Prasad, (2) Bikky Prasad be enlarged on bail subject to furnishing bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned CJM, Paschim Bardhaman.
If on bail, the petitioners shall meet with the investigating officer of the case once in every 10 days till the report in final form is submitted before the jurisdictional Court. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2183 of 2026 is allowed.
All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
