By filing this contempt application the petitioner alleges that the respondents have violated the order dated 02.05.2024 passed in WP(S) No. 209 of 2024. 3. This Court in paragraph 5 of the order dated 02.05.2024 passed in WP(S) No. 209 of 2024 has passed the following order: 5. Having heard counsel for the parties and considering facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is directed to file representation before the Superintendent of Police, Simdega along with proper identification. Upon receipt of such representation, the respondent concerned shall look into the matter and shall pass appropriate order for release of amount of death-cum-retiral benefits and further to fix pensionary and other benefits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter. If petitioner is found entitled for compassionate appointment, the same shall also be considered in accordance with law as per terms and conditions of the compassionate appointment made for employees. The entire benefits shall be calculated and extended to the petitioner without any further delay. 2026:JHHC:2408 2 4. From the aforesaid order, I find that no Mandamus was issued to grant compassionate appointment to the petitioner rather a direction was given to the Superintendent of Police, Simdega to dispose of the representation of the petitioner. Now the representation has already been disposed of and has also been brought on record as a part of the show cause filed by the respondents. The order is dated 13.01.2026. 5. Since the reasoned order has been passed, no contempt is made out. This contempt petition is dropped. 6. If the petitioner is aggrieved she may file an appropriate application challenging the same. 7. Personal appearance of Mr. Shrikant S.
