The grievance of the petitioner is directed against refusal of the respondent to provide a permanent electricity connection to the petitioner’s submersible pump. 2. On behalf of WBSEDCL, a Report has been filed in Court whereby it appears that the petitioner completed the meter room, boring, pump set etc. except the main switch wiring. The petitioner undertakes to complete installation of the main switch etc. in the meter room within a week from date. 3. In view of the above, WPA/462/2026 is disposed of by directing the petitioner to comply with all 2 formalities and pay all necessary statutory charges in accordance with law prior to any connection being granted by the WBSEDCL. 4. If such formalities and compliances are adhered to by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to intimate WBSEDCL who will take necessary steps in accordance with law. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
