GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents particularly respondents 4 and 5 at the instance of respondents 6 and 7 in repeatedly insisting the petitioners to appear before the 4th respondents police station and insisting them to vacate from their land of Ac 2 90 cents in Sy No 254/3 Gajulapelluru Village B N Kandriga Mandal Tirupati District by creating fear and settling the civil disputes and yield to the demands of respondents 6 and 7 as illegal irregular irrational without any authority of law and volative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in any manner with petitioners life personal liberty and said properties and pass such order(s).” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Sri Chandragiri Rajendra, learned counsel for the Petitioners, submits that Respondent Nos.4 and 5, at the instance of Respondent Nos.6 and 7, are insisting that the Petitioners appear before the police and vacate the subject 3 Dr.YLR, J W.P.No.8940 of 2026 Dated 07.04.2026 land. He therefore urges this Court to pass appropriate orders directing Respondent Nos.6 and 7 not to summon the Petitioners to the police station and not to interfere in the civil dispute. 4. On the other hand, Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that the unofficial respondents have lodged a complaint against the Petitioners. Based on the said complaint, the respondent police have been calling the Petitioners to the police station for the purpose of enquiry. It is further submitted that, upon conducting a preliminary enquiry, it was revealed that civil disputes are pending between the Petitioners and the unofficial respondents. He further submits that the Tahsildar, B.N. Kandriga Mandal, addressed a letter to the Station House Officer, B.N. Kandriga, on 15.12.2025, requesting provision of adequate police protection during the conduct of the survey to avoid any untoward incident and to ensure the smooth and peaceful completion of the survey work. 5. Considering the above submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing Respondent Nos.4 and 5 not to call the Petitioners to the police station henceforth at the behest of the unofficial respondents and not to interfere in the civil disputes pending between the parties. 6. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
