Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. The petitioner has acquired the land by way of Gift Deed dated 23.08.2005 (Annexure-F) made by father of the petitioner. 4. Taking into consideration the fact that the impugned order at Annexure-B has been passed without providing opportunity of hearing to the respondents therein and also taking into account the fact that Section 79(A) and 79(B) of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 has been omitted and amended and following the declaration of law made by this Court in - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010527302026 NC: 2026:KHC:52649 WP No. 23992 of 2026 WP.No.12829/2023 disposed of on 01.04.2025, I pass the following: ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. ii) Order dated 03.04.2024 at Annexure-A in Revision Appeal No.1214/2017 on the file of the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal at Bengaluru and order dated 16.06.2009 (Annexure-J) passed by respondent No.2 are hereby set aside. iii) Respondent No.3 is directed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records forthwith.
