Ms. Ipsita Ghosh ….for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiffs praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court at Uluberia, District-Howrah to dispose of the Title Suit No.196 of 2021 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that an application for extension of the order of injunction was filed by the petitioner and the same is pending. She further submits that January 4, 2027 is fixed for hearing of such application. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate for the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioners, CO 3303 of 2026 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court at Uluberia, District-Howrah to take up the hearing of the pending application on January 4, 2027 2 and make an endeavour to dispose of the said application as expeditiously as possible but preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. After the suit is made ready for hearing, the learned trial judge shall make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. There will be no order as to costs. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
