Dowarga Prasad Agarwal and Ors.) pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pre-cognizance hearing of this case has not yet been concluded even after two years from the date of filing of the complaint. I do not find any justification to keep this application pending. Accordingly, I direct the learned Magistrate in the Court below to conclude the pre-cognizance hearing within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law. Accordingly, CRR 118 of 2026 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
