1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record.
2. By presenting this writ petition prayer is made for registration of FIR based on complaint lodged. Petitioner has also prayed for direction upon the concerned police authority to provide protection.
3. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 14th September, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge,
Namkhana
Police
Station, Sundarban Police District and same is taken on record.
4. It is disclosed in the communication dated 14th September, 2026 that petitioner has filed a petition before jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) BNSS, 2023 and same was heard on 30th July, 2026. Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas called for report from the concerned police authority on conducting necessary enquiry.
5. In view of steps taken by petitioner by approaching jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) BNSS, 2023, no further order need be passed on this writ petition.

6. Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas shall be at liberty to take decision, in accordance with law.
7. Writ petition stands disposed of.
8. However, police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see that no untoward incident takes place.
