23.09.2026 Court No.35. D/L. 476. Kausik CRM (A) 3033 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Anticipatory Bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. And In the matter of : Asbud Khan ……Petitioner. Mr. Ranojoy Chatterjee Ms. Riya Mahanta Mr. Soumik Maity ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Shourjyo Mukherjee Mr. Sajal Kr. Pandit ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he has instructions not to proceed with the bail application. State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. However, since the learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that on the self-same issue no second application for anticipatory bail will be preferred on behalf of the petitioner, I am inclined to allow the prayer. Accordingly, CRM (A) 3033 of 2026 is dismissed as not pressed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
