SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS WPMS No.1116 of 2026 With WPMS No.1146 of 2026 WPMS No.1147 of 2026 Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J. Mr. Harendra Belwal, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned D.A.G. for the State. 3. Mr. S.S. Lingwal, learned counsel for respondent no.2, through video conferencing. 4. Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, these petitions are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPMS No.1116 of 2026 alone are being considered and discussed. 5. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners against the notice dated 10.04.2026, whereby the petitioners were called upon to appear, before the Estate Officer of the respondent-Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, on 30.04.2026 along with evidence and relevant documents regarding their ownership and possession over the land in-question from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have possession over the land in- question for the last 40 years and by the said notice they were directed to vacate the aforesaid land and illegal encroachment. 7. By the impugned notice, the petitioners are not directed to vacate the said premises and to remove the construction, rather by the said notice they were only asked to submit their assertion and produce other relevant documents with regard to their rights and entitlement over the said land. 8. In such view of the matter, the writ petitions appear to be premature and the same are dismissed in limine. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 29.04.2026 SK
