By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to allow the trained pay scale on completion of five year of service as untrained teacher as has been granted to other similarly situated persons.” 3. Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus; but, he has not made any formal representation before the competent authority, therefore, petitioner may be permitted to make representation. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation. If he makes representation before the competent authority within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken as per law, within four months thereafter.
