1. The petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 317(5)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Section 12 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughter Act, 2005.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. It is alleged that the petitioner and three others were found inside the campus of a land from where 102 bovine animals were recovered. It is further submitted that the petitioner is nowhere concerned with the recovered bovine animals. The petitioner is also not concerned with the land from where the bovine animals were recovered. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 15.01.2026 and has no criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph 21 of the present bail application. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail.

3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail.
4. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (twenty thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No. 09 of 2026.
