The petitioners are before this Court stating that there are certain disputes between the petitioner and respondent No.3. In the light of the said disputes between the parties, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner calling upon him as to why the electricity supply cannot be disconnected. The petitioners have made a representation to the respondent, bringing all the facts to their notice. Earlier, they had submitted representations to the respondents, and the grievance is that, without considering the petitioners' representations, the respondents have disconnected the power supply. Having no other alternative, the petitioners has come before this court. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that BESCOM has issued a circular dated 17.09.2026 in the light of the orders dated 07.09.2026. Considering the - 9 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010631642026 NC: 2026:KHC:51546 WP No. 28646 of 2026 C/W WP No. 28938 of 2026 WP No. 28950 of 2026 AND 1 OTHER orders passed in WP No.28323/2026 dated 03.09.2026, it is submitted that, from here onwards, they will strictly follow the conditions of supply and adhere to them. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the respondents and the fact that civil disputes are pending between the parties, this Court deems it appropriate to pass the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the Writ petitions are disposed of, directing the respondents to forthwith restore the power supply. ii. The respondents shall act in accordance with law and as per the circular dated 17.09.2026. iii. All pending IA’s in this petition shall stand closed.
